Surfside PPC Newsletter - The Claude Project Setup That Speeds Up Ad Copy

SURFSIDE PPC NEWSLETTER

Welcome to the Surfside PPC Newsletter!

If you are running Google Ads or Meta Ads for clients, writing ad copy is probably the part of campaign setup that takes the longest. And if you are starting from a blank page every single time, you are making it harder than it needs to be.

I put together a full tutorial walking through how I use Claude to generate ad copy for any client, using their own landing page content as the source material.

Here is how it works. I create a Claude project and give it the ad specs for both Google Ads and Meta Ads, along with some best practices for each platform. Then, when a client is ready to launch, I copy the content from their landing page, paste it into the project, and Claude writes a full set of ads based on their actual words and messaging.

The reason I like doing it this way is that the output does not feel generic. It pulls from the client's language, their service descriptions, and their specific angles. That matters a lot more on Meta, where your copy has to do the heavy lifting, than on Google, where the intent is already there.

One thing I want to be clear about: I do not just publish AI ad copy and call it done. I use the AI output as one set of ads and write my own set based on how I would normally approach it. Then the platforms pick what works. I have seen AI copy outperform mine plenty of times, and I have seen the opposite just as often.

Keep in mind, if your client does not have good landing pages, this process does not work as well. The quality of the output depends entirely on the quality of what you paste in.
